The Car Company of the 21st Century?

In December 2008, just two months after Ford Motor Company4 (Ford) veteran Richard Canny5 (Canny) was appointed CEO of Norwegian electric car manufacturer Think Global AS (Think), the company filed for bankruptcy protection, sparking speculation among analysts about its future.

Despite the crisis, Canny was confident that the company would be reorganized and refinanced and would be back in business.

On August 27, 2009, Think exited court protection with US$ 47 million in new financing and resumed production of its electric car, the TH!NK City (Think City).
